Data-driven marketing awards – the EDDM Awards  – to spotlight the best work in email marketing and data-driven marketing.

Any brand or agency targeting audiences anywhere in Europe, Africa or the Middle East can submit their work for a chance to win at the EDDM Awards. Focused on email marketing and data-driven marketing, the award seeks to highlight the great work done across EMEA.

Brands can register to compete for free in selected categories

New this year: now businesses can compete to win by entering their work in selected categories for free. Amongst the free categories are:

  • Best use of A/B or Multivariate testing
  • Best Integration of Social Media in an Email Campaign
  • Best Welcome or Onboarding Program

As the Jury Chair (this is me), I am delighted to see that brands can enter selected categories at no cost. I expect we will see great work from small- and medium-sized businesses less likely to compete in awards.

Data-driven marketing awards with email marketing front-and-centre

Email marketing remains the best performing marketing channel in terms of Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI). Today, the best email marketers across EMEA are using data very intelligently. The outcome is a better recipient (audience) experience as a result of improved personalization, increased relevancy and higher ROMI.

The EDDM Awards was established to find and showcase some of the brilliant innovations and new developments taking place in the industry. Last year we saw superb work from winners and runner-ups including global superbrand Samsung.

This year I have no doubt that the jury will see work from agencies and brands pushing the envelope in terms of marrying data, offers, content and right-timing. And let’s not forget creativity.

Brands are becoming better at developing and implementing engaging creative concepts for email marketing. New categories at EDDM Awards aim to spotlight creativity. These categories include Best use of Interactive & Dynamic Content in Email Marketing and Best use of Video in an Email Marketing Campaign.
