Once again Facebook has redesigning the user experience. That may be good. Or bad. Check the Facebook redesign video and the screen shots below.
Whatever you feel about the Facebook redesign, one thing is certain. This redesign was first and foremost designed to accommodate new advertising streams for Facebook, and secondly to attempt to make the user experience better.
Personally, I think the filtering mechanism is a great feature. But speculation is that for a lot of users some of these new Facebook features are – get this – too complicated to use.
Well, given that Facebook has around 1 billion users, there are sure to be millions of people whom are less internet-browsing-savvy, and therefore unfamiliar with some features.
The new design is expected to roll out to users across the world over the coming months. Or weeks;-)
